Our Verdict
We bought a VPS hosting plan from Nexcess Dedicated with our own money and put it through the same 30-day benchmark we run on every provider in our directory. Over the full test window it recorded 99.99% measured uptime, with an average TTFB of 305 ms across our test nodes in the US, Europe, and Asia. The nearest server region to our test locations is US 🇺🇸.
That performance earns Nexcess Dedicated a very good NgeHost score of 8.9/10, placing it #21 out of 300 providers in our overall rankings. Vps hosting plans start at $149/mo, and during our test the day-to-day experience matched what the numbers suggest — the service is aimed at developers and growing sites that need dedicated resources and full control.

How We Tested Nexcess Dedicated

Scores weight speed 40%, uptime 30%, support quality 20%, and value for money 10%. Providers cannot pay for placement or a higher score — see our editorial policy.
